Our pediatric Occupational therapy program is focused on a holistic and individualized profile for every patient. Occupational therapy for children is presented utilizing a child's occupation, play. Through the utilization of "just right" challenges, occupational therapy can help children gain independence, and improve the development of fine motor skills, sensory integration, socialization, self-regulation and visual motor skills.
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy
Our pediatric Physical Therapy program focuses on working with children and families in order to help a child reach their maximum potential to function independently. Physical therapy also helps in the promotion of active participation within the home, at school and in community environments. Our physical therapy focuses on movement, motor development, strength, endurance and overall body function in order to help a child reach their maximum potential.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy
Our pediatric Speech Therapy program is focused on evaluating and treating communication disorders that can cause children to have increased difficulty in expressing themselves and/or understanding what other people are communicating. Speech therapist can also aid with difficulties with feeding and swallowing. Treatments can focus on increasing communication through improved articulation, fluency, voice (resonance), receptive language, expressive language, hearing, feeding, swallowing, cognition with can have a profound effect on social participation and the ability for a child to communicate their wants and needs.
